2 POEMS IN 128 LIT + READING FOR VIRTUAL LAUNCH 10/16/22 8 AM - 9:30 AM CT

I'm honored to have 2 poems ("Clockwork" and "Half-Life") in the BEAUTIFUL inaugural issue of 128 Lit. You can order the issue here. I'll be reading for the issue's Virtual Multilingual/International Launch Reading this Sunday, October 16th from 8 AM to 9:30 AM. FUN FACT 1: "Clockwork" was partly inspired by artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres piece "Untitled" (Perfect Lovers) (1991) and partly inspired by volcanoes. FUN FACT 2: both poems in the issue, in earlier drafts, contained references to skeletons. The skeleton was edited out of "Clockwork" but still appears in "Half-Life." One of the skeleton lines edited out of "Clockwork" was: "Mop the water when it falls through the ribcage."
